Meet Lauren
Co-Founder & Operations Officer
Lauren is the strategic force behind the scenes at Costello & Co Construction, a women-owned design-build firm serving Oakland County and the greater Metro Detroit area. She ensures our remodeling projects — from kitchen renovations to full home transformations — run smoothly, efficiently, and intentionally. With a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a background in Organizational Behavioral Management, Lauren brings a rare combination of technical expertise, systems thinking, and genuine empathy to every client experience.
Before joining Costello & Co full time, Lauren spent seven years in the corporate world refining her operational and leadership skills. Fate eventually nudged her toward something more meaningful — consulting for small businesses, managing the rental portfolio Michelle had built, and ultimately stepping in to lead operations for our growing home remodeling company. Today, she organizes the moving parts behind every kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation, and whole-home project, creating sustainable systems, automating workflows, and enhancing the client journey from consultation through final walkthrough.
A true empath, Lauren understands that remodeling a home is both a financial investment and a deeply personal experience. Her perfectionist attention to detail ensures that timelines, budgets, and communication remain aligned throughout construction. Whether she’s optimizing internal processes, refining the design-build workflow, or helping tailor a client’s renovation experience, Lauren keeps everything running smoothly and always with kindness.
When she’s not deep in spreadsheets (which she genuinely loves), you’ll likely find her collecting vinyl, searching for her next Stetson, blasting Gaga, or hanging out with her bestie, Duke.
