This Ferndale, Michigan home originally had a chopped-up, multi-level kitchen with mismatched ceiling heights, partition walls, and a double oven awkwardly placed at the center of the space. Our goal was to undo years of piecemeal changes and reimagine the layout as one cohesive, open environment. By leveling ceilings and opening the floor plan, we created a seamless space that now comfortably accommodates the kitchen, dining area, and a functional mud bench—bringing clarity, flow, and purpose back to the heart of the home.
